I am currently enrolled at Texas Christian University. Last semester I averaged a B in my classes but my previous three years I averaged an A in my classes with some exceptions. While I am still in school, there is only one more week of instruction and then finals but I currently have a 67% in one of my classes and I do not think that I can bring it up before finals. If I do end up with the D, what are the chances of my application getting rescinded from TCU if I also have a C in another class but As and Bs in the others?
You would have to contact the school directly. I think a D would cause concern with the admissions office.
I think you are in trouble; if you averaged As for three years, that might have been one of the main reasons you got accepted. Now that you’re tanking, it’s gonna be real tricky. Generally speaking, unless you get an F, you can’t really confirm that you’ll get rescinded. Nonetheless, a D is super close to an F and it’s TCU, so I would try to negotiate with the teacher and ask him/her for extra work to make up.
