chances of gettin into precal via internet @ de anza (summer)?

so i am going to try to attempt to finish out everything by the end of this year, so if i can take pre cal over the summer it’ll work out that way. does anyone know the probability of a new student like me getting into pre cal over the summer online for de anza?

i want to know before i order to have my transcript sent to de anza for 5$ to avoid taking assessment test.

Worse comes to worse you’ll end up on the waitlist since current students have taken up all the spots - not the greatest scenario but give it a try.

are you an intl student? if you are, your chances of getting a good professor’s very very slim seeing as current local students (then current-intl/then new-local/then new-intl) register first.

but don’t lose hope because pre-calc classes for summer have a droprate of ~50% so you have a shot if u get on the waiting list.

im a california student.

It really sucks trying to get into classes at a different CC. I’ve been trying all summer to get into the last communication studies course I need, online of course. There are still spots for the in class course, but not for an online course. During the summer, online classes go quickly. Makes sense. I even have the Santa Monica College schedule as my home page, waiting for someone to move off the wait list so I can get on. I haven’t been able to get on the wait list for it at any other colleges either. I really think priority registration should pertain to the number of units you have at any CC, not just that particular one. Oh well, I would at least try! Good luck.

@Indie… which Comm class??

I’ve had 1104 stuck in my head all week from trying to add it so many times.

Haha, I need comm 1. I took comm 10, and I took half of comm 1, which is interpersonal communications. I need the mass media portion. Darn it. Oh well!
