Some people say that it’s uber hard to get a single. A lot of others say it’s pretty easy specially if you got in with really good grades and sat and what not. Also the fact that people want to save money is another reason why a single is not that hard to get. Can anyone help me?

It totally depends on which college you’re in. In Warren, it’s quite easy to get a single, because singles outnumber doubles 2:1. I don’t know about other colleges though.

Anyone know about the other colleges like Muir?

How about Sixth?

I heard it was super easy ^___^V

This year, Muir had 3 singles and 3 triples per suite. So it’s not impossible, but it’s also not likely. At orientation last year, we filled out forms with our reasons for wanting a single. We were told that unless it was necessary, like if you had OCD or religious reasons why you couldn’t live in a triple, you probably weren’t going to get one.

Your grades and SATs have nothing to do with whether you’ll get a single or not.

3 singles vs 3 triples? lol, I swear a lot of people are gonna bust that OCD and Religious crap just to get a single. But seriuosly… there has to be some people that get in without that crap right?

In Warren yeah like stated already if you sign up for one the chances are pretty high. If you’re in Muir, I’d just go for it…find some random reason and run with it =P

No idea. Also, to “bust that OCD and Religious crap” you need to have yourself registered. I actually DO have OCD, and they made me register myself with the school as mentally ill. It’s not just like “Oh, you say you have OCD? Here, have a single!” I’m sure you need some sort of proof for religious circumstances too.

does anyone know how hard it is to get a single in revelle?

Yeah…same with Sixth?

Don’t they do it first come 1st serve basis? If you send it really early then you would have good chance of getting single.

slight reach

■■■■■ duuude, that sounded so funny when I read that lol. I haven’t read that ever since well… people were scared about college acceptances lol

Current sixth freshman here…got a single…seems easy…but wudnt recoomend AT ALL…I MEAN AT ALL…sixth is isolated as it is…being in a single mean being in the apt.s (since dorms dont hv ingles, which i didnt know
) So yea you’ll get ur single…but u’ve been warned…

Yeah, as long as you do everything early you can get a single. Go with a double, though. OMG. I agree with cooladu, SIxth is super isolated. Living in a single kinda sucks. You will get lonely.
