I applied to the college of Staten Island as a transfer student. My college gpa is a 2.2- 2.3. They asked me to submit my high school transcript and it was a 2.0/2.1. It says on their website “1. Transfer students with less than 30 credits completed at the time of application must also fulfill our freshmen requirements and submit their high school documentation as part of the application process. In addition, the student’s completed college work must have an overall GPA of 2.0*.” I looked at their high school freshman requirements and it said I had to have at least a B- average if I was applying as a freshman for a 4 year program, but I’m applying to a 2 year program. Would they reject me if my HS grades were lower than that? They never asked for my SAT/ACT scores… Just gpa., do they generally accept students with 2.2’s? They claimed they take your high school and college combines and come up with a gpa for you…
l wouldn’t worry too much. CSI, they have a high acceptance rate.
