In all advance classes and am taking sevral AP classes next yr

You should have a nice chance, but which college are you applying to?

“Above national average on state tests”- That really doesn’t mean much. don’t bother including useless things.

arts and sciences

personally your chances are fine if you actually get a 2250 on the SAT> But arts and sciences is one of the hardest places to be accepted at cornell. So i mean dont be suprised if you dont get in especially if your SATs dont match up to a 2250.

thanks guys. and just an update i am taking 5 AP classes: US History, Psycology, Sociology, Math, and English. In 12th grade i am supposed to be taking another 4 i believe:Forensics, Calculus, English, and Latin. And i have joined the Forensics Team at school (we just got it). Also does anyone know how good the American Studies Program is??

Huh? There’s AP Sociology and Forensics? News to me.
Lol, ‘national’ average on ‘state’ (Regents exams? those were good fun) tests. Whatever that means. (Don’t mean to be rude or anything)
Uh, but based on the GPA and estimated SATs, pretty nice chance. Good luck next year. :)

Pretty good chances assuming that u maintain that 4.0 and actually get the 2250…u ll need alot of ECs that are related to ur major and if u wanna improve ur chances at getting into Cornell, then u should think about applying to PAM at College of Human Ec(I am assuming that ur interested in law)
