Chances of getting in?!

<p>Columbia was my first choice, until I discovered that they did not offer a Business major and I would instead have to study Economics or Financial Engineering. Now I am applying to NYU Stern ED but I am still applying to Columbia, and if I get in there is no way Im not going.</p>

SAT: 1700 in total but I retook them and awaiting scores.
SATII: Taking them November 1st, hope for 700’s or above
ACT: Taking them on saturday
School: Highly competitive high school involved with Miami Dade College.
Recommendations: From counselor, good. From college english professor, excellent. From college economics professor, excellent.
Intended Major: Business Administration/ International Business
Honors: Gifted program of Florida. AP Spanish Language=5. AP English Literature and AP World History=2. Currently taking AP Calculus AB, and AP US History. Over 30 college credits. College GPA: 4.0 </p>

<p>you have a really good chance at NYU…columbia however will be a reach for you…your ECs are good…and if you don’t make it into Columbia, you should be really hopeful for NYU Stern, that program is really hard to get into, and NYU is a good college too. but as a recommendation try to get that SAT score up a bit. good luck.</p>
