Chances of Getting In

I applied to Cornells CALS school as an AEM major. Regular Decision. What are my chances of getting in.

94 weighted average
Took 6 AP’s in HS
ACT Composite: 32 (taking best individual scores from each test)
Math: 34
Reading: 33
English: 30
Science: 29

SAT: 1230
Math: 670
Reading: 560

SATII: Math I:660
Math II: 660

Essays – Good
Rec’s: Outstanding (possibly rec. from a cornell coach)

Heavily involved in athletics. Talking to Cornell coaches. All-Section athlete. Went to many Summer Programs, every extracurricular is amazing, started own business, won business competitions, internship, etc.

Low SAT I and II. Good ACT/GPA/APs. 25% chance because you are an athelete.

Yeah, but CC admissions chances are huge underestimates. So it’s actually like 75%

What do you mean? CC?

he means CC(College Confidential… the site you are on lol).

These kids are bitter over pretentious people who often seem to be sadists when it comes to chancing poeple.

Don’t worry, if you’re EC’s are as good as you say, then Im sure your chances are above 50%… and still that may be an underestimate because they’ll igonre your SAT score for your ACT score.

btw add an extra 20% if u are URM.

All I can say is the following: don’t send in your SAT I, and raise you SAT II’s. If you do this, you should be perfectly fine.

Really guys, there’s no way to estimate.

Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

If you can correctly answer that, you can also answer:
Will I get in or not?

Either way, you have roughly the same likelihood of being right…50%

wonderful athletics and ECs, they will really lighten up ur application.
however, i would suggest u retake the math and reading test. and how did u do on the APs?
i would say write an awesome essay, that will probably do it
