Chances of getting into a Selective college?

I am incoming senior in high school and I have an unweighted GPA of 4.0 being that I have taken 5 APs and will take 4 more this coming year. The four that I am taking this senior year include Calc BC, Literature, Psychology, and Economics. So far, I have gotten at least a four or above on my APs including World History, Statistics, Calculus AB, English Lang. and Comp., and Chemistry. I have yet to take SAT II for Math Level 2 and maybe Chemistry. I got 1450 for the New SAT, though I’m not sure if this score is good enough for an Ivy League school or a highly-selective college. My dream school would be UPenn/UChicago due to their amazing and rigorous business undergraduate program. However due to my low-income background, I have not had the chance for spending money on extra things such as supplemental classes for the SAT/ACT (though I truly am grateful for my upbringing). I have taken community college courses as a result to further my studies. I have a fair number of leadership roles in high school and I have had the opportunity to take on two business development/social media internships. It will be especially hard for me since I am an Asian to stand out however… What should I do in order to stand out to these colleges? Any criticism would be helpful and I would appreciate any advice. Thank you!

I think you are on the right track to getting into a selective college. You’re strong academically, and the 1450 is a very good SAT score.
My advice is to write very strong essays, and to have two teachers who know you well write your letters of recommendation. At your top schools, you should interview if possible- it adds another component to the application.

Okay, thank you for your advice! I will definitely do my best!

And I also understand that these posts can be a bit annoying (so sorry for those who are reading this thread and are rolling their eyes right now). And also, I understand that my chances are not great for a “top school”. Nevertheless, thank you!

Wow it seems like we have very similar stats :)) I am asian as well which is quite unfortunate during the college admissions process
