Hi everyone,

I’m a senior and I plan on going to UW next year.

If I go to the earliest orientation possible, should I be able to get a spot in BIOL 180?

Thanks,

Sorry, no, I don’t think so.

Biol 180 usually fills up by the time the sophomores register.

Also I can’t remember when orientations are, but here is what the Biol 180 restrictions are:
No NonMtrcs,Freshmen Period 2 (6/20/2011-9/27/2011)
No Freshmen Period 3 (beginning 9/28/2011)

So no freshman can register after 6/20. You will probably have to wait until at least winter or spring to take the class. (A lot of people do the chem series first anyway, FYI)

I will have junior status after 1st fall qtr, will that suffice to get me a spot for winter qtr?

probably yeah, it’s not typically a freshman class (although i did take it spring freshman year) though
