I am not athletic (kind of overweight) but I play tennis most of the year round (not for school) and bike. I am 6’.
Have a Jewish mom, Christian dad, but am Jewish myself.

P.S.
I love, and have a knack for learning, world languages. I’d like to major in French or linguistics. My dream is to become a successful game designer/producer.

I wrote a 300 page novel just for fun a year ago. People thought I was crazy.

I am guessing your writing is terrible. No one writes a novel at age 16. Read some more, then write.

Linguistics isn’t going to help you become a game designer. Gaming design is more along the lines of an industrial design, fine art, or computer design major.

You’re doing well academically, and that’s fine. But my God you are boring. Do something! something entertaining. Stop trying to be the average Ivy league applicant. The adcoms get 20,000 applications that look exactly like yours every year. You should be homeless for a little while, take up fencing, start a food club or take an interist in deep sea fishing. Do SOMETHING that’s interesting, because right now you are looking like someone who could be easily overlooked.

Haha, ain’t that the truth. Hordes of boring, zombie-like GPA-chasing EC-collecting drones pass through these fora everyday, and only a happy cup of coffee prevents me from saying so sometimes. OP, go outside of the box and get some fresh air! Run off and get employed as a sailor for a semester or two. Come back with an eye patch and a mysterious tendency to look into the distance and go, “Oh, that reminds me of that time in Peru…”

I’m not a “GPA chasing” “EC-collecting” zombie–I just do what I feel like, and I don’t study excessively for school. Not to mention, you don’t know various aspects of my life which set me apart from others.

And my parents are very protective, which means I don’t do a lot of out-there things.
