Chances of getting into McGill as an international student

Hey there,
I am an international applicant for this fall’24 at McGill University. I got 96.3% in physics, chemistry, and mathematics, and my weighted GPA is 5.00; my mid-year rank was 1/180 (in section) and 13/2200 (combined rank); the weighted GPA was 4.95; and I got AAA* in physics, chemistry, and mathematics (PCM). In my 11th grade, my gpa was 4.85/5.00 along with AAA* in PCM, with the highest score in Physics (98/100) and Math (96/100), and my rank was 2/180 (in section) and 11/2200 (combined rank). In 10th grade, I got AAA* in pcm with 100/100 in maths in chemistry and 98/100 in physics, and the gpa was 5.00/5.00. So what are my chances of getting into McGill? My TOEFL score is 99/120, which is equivalent to 7.5 in IELTS, afaik.

Have you looked at the applicable requirements for type of HS you attend and the school/major you applied for?

yes I have. I am from Bangladesh and McGill accepts our curriculum.

The grades appear in a good range and would give the student a fair opportunity. However, McGill is always a competitive and some programs are very hard to get into. Keep checking your application portal to make sure McGill is not requesting additional info. If you are missing something they will not notify via email. It is up to you to keep checking. Good luck.
