I have a 2.7 GPA sadly and a 29 on the ACT. I did some volunteer work freshman and sophomore year. My GPA is low because I was ill for a lot of freshman and sophomore year and suffered from anxiety on top of it all. I don’t think I’ll get in but my dad says we have a scholarship in my grandfathers name and somehow thinks that will help. Anyways, please let me know if you think I have a chance of getting in.
To be perfectly honest, with a 2.7 GPA, your chances of getting into UP are slim to none. If you apply DUS/summer session, your application is in before the 30th, and you mention your illness in your personal transcript you might get lucky, but you have a much better shot at just doing 2+2 at a branch campus. A 2.7 GPA will not get you into UP unless you are a recruited athlete. When you say you have a scholarship in your grandfather’s name - do you mean an established PSU scholarship? Or just that you will be full pay?
