Chances of getting on PHD programme MIT Princeton

I’m looking to do a PHD in mathematics at Princeton, MIT, Havard or Stanford but I’m not sure of my chances.

I completed my undergrad in pure maths at Oxford university (BA and masters) 5 years ago and since then have been working in Investment banking, but my main passion has always been maths.

I’m not sure of UK university’s and oxford in particular’s reputation in the US, and also since I have taken such a long break in studying, will I still be likely to be accepted?

MIT: Reach
Princeton: Reach

anyone care to explain what reach means?

Princeton and MIT attracts the best students in the world; the competition will be very stiff.
