<p>I am a 23 year old Hispanic female. I just got accepted to UMD for Spring 2015. I am currently finishing my last semester at Montgomery College. I am in the process of applying for UMD’s Transfer Academic Excellence Scholarship and I wanted to know what could be the chances of receiving that scholarship. I don’t know if I might need to do more in order to have a better chance. The deadline for the application is March 2015 so I still have time. </p>

Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society
Extracurriculars: Mathematics student tutor
Currently have an internship at Accounting Firm, mainly for statistical analysis
I have two recommendation letters from two math professors (I am still fairly new to programming)
I want to get a third recommendation letter from my advisor </p>
<p>I am currently revising my resume and writing my essay </p>
