Hi, I am a High School Senior who is looking to apply to some prestigious schools and Ivy Leagues: UPENN, Yale, Columbia, and Sophie Davis. I already got accepted into 8 “back up schools” if I am denied by the prestigious ones. But I would like to know my chances considering my circumstances.
I am a Hispanic female who is interested in majoring in neuroscience, optometry, biology, or a pre-med track to become an ophthalmologist in the future. I am also interested in joining a universities’ track and field/cross country team. My WEIGHTED GPA is a 99 and i took the SAT twice with my highest being a 1300 and the ACT once with a 29 (so they are not too high)
I was accepted to attend a four day program at UPENN over the summer with the Hispanic Scholarship fund and a week long program for health care at Long Island University.

I have a lot of activities but I just do not know if my grades are ok to be even considered.
I am taking 5 AP courses my senior year and i have been in honors/accelerated classes all four years. I played two varsity sports at the same time the beginning of senior year as well.
I really would like to be accepted to an ivy league, but i do not know if my grades are lacking. There are also many seniors in my grade who have much higher grades than me and are applying to the same schools (but do not have activities). I also finished my first quarter of senior year with a 95 (much lower than others). Please give your honest opinions, and thank you!
