Don’t go for the minimum here, assuming one cc class can make up for missing two-three years in high school. The subject has been some highly competitive colleges. Most of us here have got to know that one semester in college (or cc or summer) doesn’t give the level of exposure that a couple of years does.
When an adcom looks at the transcript, don’t assume he/she will look at it like a registrar. They want to see the effort over some time period. CC has a few topics where folks like to talk of shortcuts- that’s so iffy. Especially when speaking of Stanford or Penn level.
