Chances of Los Angeles Students being accepted - good grades, high test scores

from NC. Is it a long shot?</p>

<p>Well 18% of freshman are from out of state. Although you have to be a really strong applicant if your out of state.</p>

<p>How about out of state applicants transferring from community college (for their junior year).</p>

<p>Any ideas as far as an average GPA? I’m also from California (north cal), and want to transfer to UNC as a junior.</p>
