jandjdad: Pitt can say whatever they want in regards to what the “criteria” is for getting the full tuition scholarships. They will bend the criteria if your student has something they want (hook).

If you have followed this forum, you will find there will be kids with stellar stats (including class rank) who gets zero or a smaller scholarship amount. Then you will have kids who have less stellar stats getting the full tuition scholarship. Both my boys received full tuition scholarships from Pitt. The older was ranked 3rd in his class but the younger went to a school that did not rank.

For scholarships, apply early!!! It also matters whether you are in-state versus OOS and especially from an underrepresented state.
