My daughter has applied regular decision to NYU class of 2022. We wanted to see financial aide before we applied so we didn’t apply ED. She is interested in a Global Studies major. Her GPA 3.85 uw/4.15 w GPA ACT 29 SAT 1370 She will have taken 8 AP classes. Four are in progress now.
She has numerous extra curricular, a few leadership positions even started a Ukulele club at her school. She also has many awards for music and vocal including All State Choir and All State Jazz Choir, 200 volunteers hours and award for volunteering. Her references I believe are pretty good and at least one excellent reference for a internship she did for a Harvard grad student. I know this year is extremely competitive honestly what do you think are her chances? She was deferred to reg decision ED1 at Oberlin which was a tough blow, so we are trying to be cautiously optimistic. She has forever talked about her love of NYU. Any thoughts of chances?
