Have no idea but I’d say you’d be at the top of the applicant pool, so that may equal a scholarship.

In-state? I’d say you have a 95% shot at a scholarship/

Out of state? very, very low chance. I had better stats than you (minus the NMS finalist - I was only a semi-finalist) and I received $0 in FA. Michigan is stingy for OOSers

You ovbviously have a reasonable shot at a merit scholarship, but roughly 30% of Michigan’s freshman class has similar stats to yours, and of those, only a fraction will get a sizeable scholarship. It is always wise to manage one’s expectations when it comes to scholarships. Try to submit your application no later than late September.

Thanks guys :D

As a BBYO alum I can definitely say it helps with admissions (not that you’ll need it with those stats) but doesn’t really help with scholarship unless you get local b’nail brith scholarships. There are several Regional presidents and a few I-board members around campus and as far as I know none of us are on scholarship. Its all speculation though, you never really know what admissions will deem worthy of merit scholarship.

Oh hi! @pacers31 what board position did you have?

With rare exceptions U-M is not overly generous with merit aid. I would not bet on it. There are a lot of BBYO alums at U-M.

Are you a junior? If you are … wow … way to go for being proactive!

You’re doing well in the grades department, and your AP load is pretty heavy

For merit, you could make yourself more competitive by aiming for a 2300+ on the SAT or 35+ on the ACT, but I’m not sure how much of a difference this makes.

If you’re looking to do medicine, some people do try to do research at a hospital, or at least they were when I was in HS.
