Chances of transferring to Ivy leagues/ NYU Stern?

<p>I will be a freshman at university this coming september. However, what chances do I have in transferring to an Ivy league college(focusing on Penn, Columbia and Cornell) or NYU stern in my sophomore/junior year.</p>

<p>High School:</p>

<p>9th grade: GPA: 3.9
10th grade: GPA: 3.85
11th and 12th grade: (Received all A and B grades) I did the IB Diploma (Bilingual Diploma Awarded), 32 points in the final :confused: due to excruciating circumstances that happened around the time I took my exam. (was predicted 38)</p>

<p>SAT: 1920 right now, will try to boost it up to 2200</p>

<p>Extra-curricular Activities:</p>

<p>Sports:
my team won 1st place for softball competition at regionals.
participated in various school and regional soccer competitions.
participated in 'regional and International Marathons, around 5~6 ones.
Participated in regional track competitions.
Raised money through entering marathons for charity.</p>

<p>Academic related:
participated in school english essay competition and achieved 1st place.
achieved honors, 4th place in overall studies of year group (9th grades, 130 students)
got elected male student of the year (9th grade)
participated in national english writing competitions.
Represented school to participate in national science fair.
Got elected class president. (inlcudes communications between teachers and students, class meeting)
campaigned for ‘model student’(student with outstanding performaces) and got elected 2008.
school representative for national ‘model student’ awards. 2009
got elected for school houses ‘vice-captain’ 2009. (for one year)
participated in leadership program over the summer.
got 1st place in chinese writing competition for whole secondary school. (500 students)
one of representatives for designing school year book.
Participated in Tabitha fund raising project for China.
participated in photography club in school.</p>

<p>Charity:</p>

<p>Organizer/founder of school fund-raising project for United Nations children’s fund.(1 year)
participated in a school fund-raising project for raising money for building a library in a underprivileged school in central Africa.
participated in “running”(marathons) to raise money for charities.
Participated in fund raising project for India. Went to India to help the people for 2 weeks.
Participated in fund raising for Haiti after devastating earthquake.
volunteered at a local stray dogs organization over the summer.(1 year)
Volunteer for high school music concert.
Participated in environment awareness Society.(2 years)</p>

<p>I am also planning to do lots of ECs at college, perhaps doing an internship or work experience.</p>

<p>Your predicted 38 is irrelevant at this point: you ended up with a 32.
Try to get a 4.0 first two semesters, and improve SAT.</p>

<p>Stern might be a match (if you end up with a 2200) if you can pay full tuition.</p>
