Good (I think) essays
Marginal counselor rec (He doesn't know me well, little knowledge of grammar)
Good teacher recs.

I'm really lousy at this. Everything subjective looks good to me, but then again, Wellesley keeps rejecting people that I think would get in. I know generally how the ACT works, but nothing about Wellesley judges it in terms of good scores.

I think being from Wyoming helps.

Good Luck!

30 is an avg score for Wellesley.

haha, i love that about the counselor rec. i can relate.

Yeah, I have to say that it's hard to judge your case, AllieJ. Your rank/gpa seem fine which is probably one of the most important factors; I'm not familiar with the ACT, but that score is pretty average for those admitted. Your ECs seem fine as well. Other factors included, your chance at Wellesley is definitely there, in my opinion - in fact, I think you should not hesitate to apply if you are considering attending. Good luck!
