<p>GPA: 4.2 weighted 3.4 unweighted ( I know big difference because by the time HS is done I will have taken 10 AP courses and almost as many honors courses and I got a few Bs in them) School doesen’t officially rank, but my guidance counselor showed me that I was 20/350</p>

<p>I also have many awards for my film work. I have won national awards for films that I have produced.</p>
<p>I have also worked on 4 major political campaigns and currently work for a Congressman who will be writing me a recommendation.</p>
<p>The film award thing can be big if you play your cards properly. The congressman rec can always help. However, a 3.4 UW GPA is much lower than the nationwide average. </p>
<p>Is Brown ED really the “cream of the crop”? Surely, there’s less unqualified people who are applying for the heck of it in ED, but aren’t a lot of the superlative students going to early at HYPS instead? Looking at the Brown RD v. ED people, the RD people tend to have clearly higher stats… Maybe I’m just pulling stuff out of nowhere. o_o</p>
