Is your GPA weighted or unweighted? Also, do you plan on taking the SAT? Service and awards look good. What is a Bulldog Buddy Leader?

3.8 is Unweighted GPA
We dont offer class rank at my school, and I took my SAT but am concentrating on the ACT.
Bulldog Buddy Leader is the person in charge of the tutoring sessions that work one on one with students in an inner city grade school.

Impressive. I think you will have a good chance at RD. If you can boost your ACT you will be especially competitive. Make sure your senior year schedule is rigorous (but not crazy). Good luck.

chance me pleasssssssse people!

I think you have a solid chance. There are two red-flags if you will. The first is only 4 honors/AP courses. If this is 4 APs, then it is fine, but if it is 3 honors and 1 AP than it may be alarming (only if your school offers like 10 AP classes). By the way, does that number include senior year?

The other is the ACT. If you are able to get your score to around a 32, then you make yourself much more competitive. I would still suggest going RD, unless you get a 33+ in the ACT. Then you may consider going EA.

I think that you also have a lot and i mean a lot of service-based activities (which kind of covers for your few EC’s). ND does really like this, as they are a Catholic school in which service is stressed. I would say that this is your strong point and definitely use in in your essay, as I sounds like it demonstrates who you actually are.

And finally, your legacy status may help, but as defined by other threads, it is not a lock, you still have to be highly competitive to have a shot, even if you are a legacy.

Good Luck on next year!
