Chances please, weird stats, I am afraid

SAT CR 720, Wr 730, M 590
SAT II Language 710, English Lit 630, Math 620

GPA 3.4–top 10%, though. Half my class is less than 3.0. That’s the way my school grades. We don’t have AP.

Only 65 in my senior class. Fairly competitive high school. Some Ivy every year, including several ED Ivy this year

Tons of EC, almost all theater, and tons of community service

Really good rec’s

What do you think about chances for

American
Barnard
Brandeis
George Washington
Mount Holyoke
Scripps
Skidmore
Smith
Trinity (Connecticut)
Tufts
Wellesley

Thanks.

In: American, GW, Scripps, Skidmore, Trinity, Mount Holyoke, Brandeis

I think you have a good shot at Smith, Tufts and Wellesley are harder but I would still call them match schools for you. I think looking at so many LACs was a good choice because they will recognize that at your school a 3.4 is very good.

American- safety
Barnard- reach
Brandeis- slight reach
George Washington- safe match
Mount Holyoke- dont know enough about it
Scripps- same
Skidmore- safety/safe match
Smith- slight reach/reach
Trinity (Connecticut)- dont know enough
Tufts- reach
Wellesley- reach

I think the above posts depend on one thing : the quality of your ECs. Particularly at Tufts, Trinity, Brandeis, Wllesley, Barnard, all of which are more competitive, you’re going to need something to make up for the 590 math. Everyone at these schools is top 10% (well not everyone, but you know what I mean), so you need something to shine. If your all theater EC’s genuinely show growth, interest and involvement, I think your chances are quite good.
