i’m applying to the following schools: MIT, John Hopkins, Cornell, Rice, and Stanford.

Math 2- 770
Prior AP classes: U.S. History (5)
Current AP Classes: Physics, Calc, Bio
Dual Enrollment Courses with State University: English (2 years), Spanish 5, Biology
(It’s a small high school and these are the highest level courses it offers)
Extracurriculars:
Varsity XC (3 years) and captain
Class President (4 years)
National Honor Society and Vice president (2 years)
Newspaper Editor (2 years)
(some other stuff but this is really the most important)
Achievements:
National Merit Scholarship semi finalist
(some other awards no one will know)
Volunteer:
1000+ hours
Work:
Lifeguard (2 years)
Self employed landscaping (4 years)
All those schools are top schools nobody can chance for schools like that because people who are more qualified then you will often times get rejected and people who are less qualified will often times get accepted . But IMO I think Rice would be a match not sure about everything else because again for these schools it’s a toss up.
What’s your demographical information?
Are you first generation or URM? Being from Iowa will be different than if you’re from NJ. Being female applying to MIT gives you an edge over being male. You have very good grades decent test scores and excellent in school achievements. For schools like Stanford, however, it generally takes awards or achievements on a state, national or international level to stand out in a crowd of 44,000 applicants. But as I said, they will view you in the context of your circumstances and so if you’ve done the most you can given the opportunities afforded to you, they will take that into consideration.
