Chances (please?!)

I’m a high school junior at a very prestigious private school.
In state, female. I speak 4 languages fluently and have lived overseas for three years.

For W&M

SAT: 1200
SAT II: 780 Spanish, 780 Italian, 600 Bio
gpa: 3.8 unweighted
class rank: top15% (at a very competitive school)
essays: really great
recs: amazing
9 APs by graduation

i would say pretty good shot

i think the GPA, school, and SAT 2’s will help (except the biology). Is there anyway that you can retake your SAT 1? there website states that “nearly 80 percent of current freshmen graduated in top tenth of their class with the middle 50 percent having total SAT scores ranging from 1280-1430”. Your SAT will not put you in the middle 50%, and your rank will not put you in the 80% (but the fact that you are coming from a pres. private should help). And if you are out of state then the competition because ridiculous. From my understanding, only takes like 15% of their total admits are OOS.

anyone else have any feedback?

Yeah, I am definitley retaking the sat i’s. But I’m seeing if I have any shot at all regardless. I know that is what would hinder my chances. I’m in state, of course.

Is your sat out of 1600 or 2400?

Out of 1600…of course LOL. 1200/1600.

In other words, is it worth my money and time and emotional torment to ED my app next year?

I think you have a good shot if you can boost your SAT score. That is the only thing you really have to work on, other than that you seem fine. Oh, if I remember correctly I think that they are more willing to accept males than females. I would still apply.
