Chances please!

GPA and test scores too low for an unhooked applicant.

It seems to me like he has a hook…I mean…1st generation college, low-income… good luck!

Unhooked, so in other words, not black or hispanic?

Hooks: Recruited athletes, URMs with amazing stats, and developmental admits (at a place like Yale that would mean tens of millions) would be the more common categories.

Less common hooks would be stuff like significant TV or movie roles, author of published book, etc.

Being a first generation high school grad and low income definitely help you, but I don’t think I would put them in the hook category. Definitely a tip.

You’ve got a great profile and will obviously do well.

^Thank you, do you have any suggestions for how I could improve my application?

Also, anymore chances?
