I think you have a relatively good chance. Without meaning to sound racist, are you a minority because that might significantly improve your chances. And what kind of debate do you do? I do LD :)

So CX?..as in you have a partner right? Would you happen to know if Princeton’s debate team, which I’m assuming is only policy oriented, requires that students have a partner or what?

I don’t think princeton has a policy debate team, I think they do congress. Even if they do have a policy debate team, you will need to have a partner when debating policy as you cannot effectively debate policy alone

My soul withers in despair when I see posts like these: there’s some stiff competition out there for a spot in the Class of 2014. Seriously, man, if you have a 2400, solid ECs, decent writing skills, and a personality that comes through your application, then you’ll be fine. On the very, very, very slim chance that you get rejected, you can just blame it on the person who read your application–the only reason I would be able to think of is that they had a hangover.

hey thanks. But you never know, I’ve heard of a lot of kids with similar stats that have been rejected, i guess it must be the competition from within my school.

The Ivy League schools have agreed on April 1st at 5:00 pm eastern. I have no clue whether it’s an email or if we have to log in to our accounts on the website…

i think you have a great chance, waaaaaay better than me and my ****ty-in-comparison SATs. oh, and i just got the email that says we recieve decisions as someone already mentioned on April 1st at 5 p.m. (EST). You’ll have to register and log in to see your decision.
