VERY impressive stats. I would be shocked if u didnt get in, goodluck

Do I have any chances at the Woodrow Wilson Fellowship?? I still haven’t done the essay for that and I’m wondering if I should even bother applying.

good mother ****ing lord, you’re never going to get into jhu

to the best of my knowledge, the WW is evaluated primarily on your previous experience and on the quality and insight of your proposal. Its pretty impossible for us to tell without seeing the WW application

Just wondering, how long should the essay/proposal be? Abrandel, did you apply to WW?

*** is WW?

Woodrow Wilson Undergraduate Research Fellowship

yes i did apply, though i don’t remember how long it was. Basically i summarized my experience (about 1 passage per lab i worked in, so three for the background) then i described my research proposal in another section that was hmmm…no idea. So total it was a couple of pages, no big deal, i think they will be reading for quality not quantity. if its 2 pages or 20 its not really going to make a difference, just dont ramble on endlessly…

how many ppl get the WW each year? i heard its really competitive, so i didn’t bother writing the freakin essay/proposal whatever the hell it is. hopefully jhu gives out other merit $$$

not very many people get it, i forget the number but i can look it up if you want. JHU does give out other kinds of merit aid though i think all of them are fairly competitive. WW is not aid though, you should realize, its a research grant

get ne medals for sci olymps?
