I’d say you’re in, no problem. Villanova is very popular here in CT; not sure how widespread the reputation is, but I would say at least Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

I have no doubt you’ll be admitted. My daughter was admitted to Notre Dame with numbers like yours, but didn’t have extracurriculars as good as yours, so I think you’ll do fine.

I know some alumni here in Ohio, and Villanova has a good reputation. We’re looking at Villanova for my junior son. He can major in Engineering and still get a good liberal arts education. It is an early leader for his affections along with other Catholic schools like Notre Dame, Providence, St. Louis Univ., and a few non-Catholic schools.

I’m sorry if this sounds stupid, but what are you doing swmergrl5? You know you are going to get in, probably honors. Look at college board- you are at least 50 points higher than the 75 percentile in every SAT section, you are top five or in the top 2%.

In all seriousness, this “chance me” seems more like a feed my ego.

Come on- you are 99% in and probably 85% in honors program.

To figure out whether or not you are in look at collegeboard.com yourself before posting. (It’s certainly nothing against you personally- this type of stuff just rubs me the wrong way because I know there are kids who got 1280-1350’s on their SAT’s and are praying every night that they get in.)
