<p>I think your app is compelling. I’m a big fan of intellect, and the contests you won are a good way of showing that I think. Class president and EIC are great things to have too no matter what HS you come from. I’m also impressed by your work experience on top of everything else you’ve done and you founded a business too? Nice going. NU is strong in social innovation and entrepreneurship, and there’s a critical mass of people doing work in these areas. NU wants to keep these programs afloat.</p>

<p>I hope you found a clever way to weave everything together. With strong recs, personal statement, and Why Northwestern, I say you’re in ED. RD, I’m not so sure because you’re outside top 10% and your scores are on the lower side. Due to the high volume of apps, admissions has simply become unpredictable. I do think other parts of your app might be able to make up for those deficiencies. Again, key to your admissibility are your personal statement, Why Northwestern essay, and recs. They have to be superb. I have hope for you though. Good luck.</p>
