DId you not take the SAT or did you forget to put them in?

I think the ACT is low, but a 3.6 uw (that would be the equiv of a 90) is a good gpa, especially since you have the “better” APs.

Where in NY?

I am from NYC, I am interesting that “where in NY” is important for admissions?

Because UMD is very cognizant of the fact that they have an image issue of NJ/NY being their OOS, they are trying to change that image, thus, upstate NY, is a little different.

what’s the different between upstate NY and NYC?

Live in queens ny so how r my chances

Traditionally upstaters consider upstate anything north of Westchester County.

Did admission people care you live in queens or mid town Manhattan? I don’t think it has any differnece.

NYC is the 5 boroughs…ALBANY/Troy are seen equivalent to New England states…huge difference! NYC and NJ are one pile…upstate NY in another for diversity.

New England states are better?
