Chances (the donkey has long since died...)

I’m a Canadian citizen whose been attending school in Tucson, Arizona for two and a half years now (h4 visa).

Here my qualifications:

varsity athlete (cross country & track & field - 4 years)
former band geek (band 2 years, marching band 2 years)
science Olympiad (team got 1st in state, 18th in nation)
speech & debate for one year (2nd in state)
+200 volunteer hours (half of it is at a lab at the university)
SAT 2110
ACT 33

is harvard just a pipe dream of something within reach?

Stats look great to me!
How did you spend the 100 volunteer hours that were NOT spent in a lab? Were you helping other people? Perhaps you could focus on which activity was most meaningful to you, and dedicate even more targeted time to that effort. My limited experience has revealed to me that H is seeking students with a real and proven interest in improving the world. Of course, I could be wrong…

Is the dead donkey reference a Canadian thing?

lol i dont think u count english unless its ur third language as trilingual… then again if u did id be quad-lingual sweet

thanks for the feedback guys, sorry, i had several crises (many of them college related) to deal with and haven’t checked this site for a while.

oh, the donkey thing: my chemistry teacher was talking about how beating the same subject over and over was like overloading a donkey. I saw how many posts in the Harvard section were all about chances and I thought, I might as well add another one since the donkey already died. It seemed funny at the time…

Unique sense of humor. I like it lol
