Essay idea:
I’m thinking about writing how I received a cease and desist letter at the age of 13 (Google: Leo Stoller, he was featured in the NY Times for his absurd lawsuits) and had to research copyright and trademark law to fight off a potential lawsuit (which had no basis) and keep thousands in profits. Could be emotional and gripping…

Any thoughts? Suggestions? Tips for the essay? I

Nice ECs! If you bring your SAT up to maybe 2200 or 2250, it will put you in very good position.

Wow yea great ECs. I think your SAT individual scores are competitive, and I think they are fine. However, you could retake them and bring your scores higher if you have time. I think you have a great essay idea and you have a great chance for all your schools!

When it comes to SATs, I forgot to mention that the 700 700 710 was a superscore of three times. Any ideas for the subject tests?

I found the US History SAT II to be pretty easy. It would also show more breadth than another science SAT II would.

Yeah, it would be great if you could get another non-science SAT II in there seeing as you need one more (Math I won’t really cut it). Along with what everyone has already mentioned, you definitely have a strong chance.

US History certainly is not “my subject,” but I am willing to study a lot to get a high score. Diagnostic test placed me at a 510 without studying. I don’t know if US History is the best choice.

Might the literature SAT II be a better approach?

The SAT II in literature is not difficult, but it’s not curved like physics and math II so you really can’t afford to get many wrong. The passages aren’t hard, but they are more like the AP lit exam than the CR on the SAT I.

Why would you retake Math2? You have a 780. You’d be wasting your time studying for that test when you could be doing something more productive.

What would you suggest?

Studying for the SAT I…

I’ve taken it three times.

you can try world history then. very forgiving curve.
