<p>Considering that no one in the world ever refers to Penn State as “Penn” and that the University of Pennsylvania has “Penn” in the logo, it seems like you don’t know what they are.</p>

<p>Regardless, Penn is the University of Pennsylvania. It always has been, and always will be. There’s no need to argue. Now you can move on to provide a “chance”.</p>

<p>I had no idea which Penn he applied to until he clarified. </p>

<p>If he would have said Upenn, which he didn’t, it might have made more sense. </p>

<p>Burdell, your posts are much more pompous and arrogant than Fenris.
Just because you have near 1700 posts doesn’t mean you can act like a tool calling an obviously new user a “kid” and expected everybody to know the intricacies of CC jargon.</p>

<p>thank G.P.Burdell, just report something so minor. grow up and take it. For the record, my uncle is penn state alum and he refers to it as penn. I asked him which penn one day and he said penn state; regardless, penn does not always refer to “University of Pennsylvania,” nor will it ever unless penn state ceases to exist. </p>

<p>If you have nothing to offer to the table except to say that “penn is upenn my opinion is infallible,” then get out of here. thanks for clarifying which penn; furthermore, you didn’t need to say which penn stood for what. but seeing as how you couldn’t already read that i mentioned penn state/upenn, you start on your general condescending tone as if you’re better. grow up.</p>
