<p>5.0 weighted GPA this year (AP Calculus BC, AP European History, AP Chemistry, AP Physics, AP Spanish, AP English Lit)</p>

<p>2390 SAT (800 math, 800 writing, 790 reading). 800 on all my SAT IIS (math II, USH, Spanish, chemistry, physics, world history)</p>

<p>Last year 4.83 GPA (Honors Chem, Honors English, AP French, AP Statistics, APUSH, PE lol) </p>

<p>5 on all my AP tests. Also

  • Played violin and piano for 12 years
  • National Merit Scholar
  • Went to Haiti to help search for survivors after Earthquake
  • Immigrant Mexican family
  • 2000 hours community service with Meals on Wheels
  • On basketball, football, tennis, baseball, soccer and track teams all 4 years, captain of all of them
  • Hold summer math camp for inner city kids
  • Support a poor African student with my own savings
  • Valedictorian of my high school
  • Working in local laboratory to find cure for cancer
  • President of currently 4 clubs on campus
  • #1 in my class of 367</p>

<p>Well everything’s flawless, esp. being URM status, that helps. Ivies and esp. upper ivies are a major crapshot to begin with. Get some great recs and write a kick ass essay (perhaps about struggles as a Mexican immigrant? If you’ve had any?), and well… who knows.</p>
