Essays:
Everybody that read me told me my common app. essay was amazing, so hopefully they’re right.

Supplements were already pretty solid, I’d say, and I did any ones I could.

Recommendations:
Should be solid. One is from my History teacher, who I had both Freshman and Senior year, so she can attest to my progress as a student (she commented on it before I even asked her for a recommendation).

Chance me please. I am extremely anxious about hearing back, to be honest, because I am asking for quite a bit of financial aid (think over half of sticker price).

By the way, I am applying as a Philosophy/English major, in the hopes of one day going to law school.

relax - posting a chance thread for 10 different colleges/universities serves no purpose for you (or anyone else)

you have done what you needed to to do and now must just wait

the next decision will be based on acceptances, aid etc

only the admissions directors can accept you - it doesn’t matter at all what anyone here says

clear out all of those other postings - please

and get back to studying for your current classes

@swampdraggin Is it even possible to clear out the postings? There isn’t an option to delete the threads

Your gpa shows strong upward trajectory and your rank is also good. Your list is full of matches and you should find yourself sitting with several acceptances come April. Good luck

@wisteria100 Thank you taking time to respond  That makes me feel better about my odds haha

Many of the schools on your list are not need blind. Are you being recruited anywhere? Your test scores are solid and I think the fact that one of your Recs addresses your upward growth, you could be a match for many of these. Hang in there, the waiting is stressfull but I suspect you will get positive responses from some of the schools you listed. Do you have a favorite? Showing a school some love goes a long way in tipping the scale in your favor.
