Chances? What do you guys think?

If I’m going to apply to top schools are my Stats competitive (I know there is never a sure thing in the crap-shoot of college admissions). If not, then how can I improve/Where are my weaknesses? (I tried to keep it fairly concise)

-Instruments- Guitar (6 years), Saxophone (7 years), Piano (4 years), in a Student Band, gives lessons
-Speech and Debate- Novice State Champion, 4-time State Qualifier, 4-time national qualifier, ranked top 3 in the state, National Octa-finalist, Category Leader
-Certified (volunteer) Tour Guide at the Springfield Historical Society- volunteered about 400 hours over 3 years
-Buckeye Boys State Senator- Sponsored by the American Legion
-Studied abroad for 1 month at Laval University in Quebec- ‘Graduated’ with a Gold Diploma (highest honors), applied my experience to regularly tutors fellow students whom struggle in French
-Co-President of a Non-Profit Organization that tutors grade school children (about 30) so that they can reach their full potential, 3 years
-National Honor Society Vice President
-Held a summer internship at an accredited financial institution

I think your stats are extremely competitive, especially your GPA and courseload. I don’t see where you could possible improve. but if you really want to improve something, maybe try aiming for higher SAT or ACT scores even though your current ones are pretty good. All in all, everything looks good to me; I can’t point out any weaknesses. I think you have a good shot at whatever school you apply to

(As a side note 8th grade doesn’t really matter to admissions, and freshman matters maybe 5%. Junior year is the crux of your application, Senior Year mid year grades are important as well).

Your extracurriculars, SAT, GPA etc are enough to qualify you for a top school. With great essays, you’re a very viable candidate.

Test scores and grades look great! Maybe have a broader range of ECs to show you are well rounded, but with a good essay, you have a great chance at top universities
