chances/what would be suitable for me?

Hi College Confidential!! waves to everybody ecstatically I’m a junior, and well applications are in a couple of months so I’d like to know what you guys might think is a match/reach/etc for me or what would be most suitable for me! I’m new so please don’t bite…Also sorta vague information just so people don’t find out who I am.

GPA: 4.0 UW
Taken 7 AP’s 5 5’s and 2 4’s
Currently taking 7 AP’s (physics c, chem, calc bc etc…)
SAT: 2290 1 sitting
SAT II: Math II 800 (going to take 2 more in June)
I have some leadership roles in the math team, business club, science club. I have a bunch of math trophies (MAO), AIME qualifier, some piano state trophies (going to a prestigious summer camp this year and soooo excited), business state trophies, science research (300+ hours, going to have my own project and get paid)…etc…nothing that’s superb.
I’m also an Asian female.
I haven’t done much research but so far I’m looking at HYPS, Duke, Cornell, John Hopkins, Northwestern, and Rice since they have pretty good science programs from what I heard. I’m very very interested in a college that has strong funding for research and/or a strong biology program. However, I am not interested in tech schools such as MIT and Caltech since I feel like I would not do well there. Thank you!

Pre-med or not?

I am considering pre-med but most likely will not put that down as intended major.

If you want pre-med, look for schools where you can get substantial financial aid, be it merit or need-based, such as Tulane.

How good is Tulalne’s pre-med program? I’d rather not limit myself to a certain major because even though I really like biology right now, that’s liable to change as I go through school, I just know that I’m definitely going into the science field and avoiding physics at all cost haha. I’m almost positive I would get a free ride at my state’s university which is a decent school (they LOVE my school’s grads), not to mention that I already have connections there due to lab work so I feel like going out of state would not be worth it unless I got into a superb college. However, I know that top schools such as Yale etc are pretty much a crapshoot unless if you’re a USAMO qualifier etc…So I’m trying to find something in the middle. Thanks!
