<p>Ok so I just got my SAT score from the March SAT, and I’m really worried, it defiantely is not as high as I want it to be. Keep in mind that when chancing I will be retaking the SAT at least once more (in the fall after I study all summer) and hopefully will be able to break 2200, but just incase that doesn’t happen I wanted to create a chances thread with my currrent stats. </p>
<p>Alright I am currently planning to apply to:
UCB, UCLA, UCSD, UCD, Princeton ( i know its a reach ), Brown, Columbia (my parents both went there for grad school, and my grandfather was a law professor), Cornell (both parents went undergrad), UMICH (sister went undergrad), Carnegie Mellon, And University of Rochestor. </p>

Currently 4.0 UW 4.7 W
Prospective GPA after this semester (I’m fairly certain I’ll get all A’s except for one B in AP Language): 3.94 UW 4.67 W
Prospective UC GPA: 4.29 (4.33 which is the highest possible if I can get an A in AP Lang)
Class Rank: 2/502 for freshman and sophmore year, but do to complications with other members of the top 5 not having there junior college classes counted yet it will end up somewhere between 3rd and 5th most likely.

<p>Now we have a VERY good juinor college literally next door to our high school, and do to scheduling conflicts I will be taking Spanish at the junior college (probably just first semester). In addition, I really want to take MicroEcon but only Macro is offered at the school and Macro is a prereq. for Micro at the JC AND Ap econ is always second semester. So I will be taking Macro Econ while taking AP Gov at the high school first semester, then tranfser out of AP Gov/econ second semester and take MicroEcon at the JC. </p>
<p>…Is that too confusing because I can not to the weird Econ thing. </p>

<p>EC:
I have done competative horse back riding since 3rd grade and own my own horse. It takes (including driving) 2 1/2 hours at day 6 days a week on normal non-show weekend and MUCH longer on show weekend. (shows are 4 days long at least 2 hours a day spending at least 10 hours at the showgrounds each day). I am not limiting my college search to schools with equestrian teams, and do not currently plan to continue riding in college due to the time/responsibilty of it. However, the school equestrain teams do not require owning your own horse so if I have the time after freshman year of college and my college has a team I would join it. </p>
<p>I am a very active member of Key club. I am Secretary this year, and will be president next year. I have just over 100 hours of community service through the club, which does not count the various hours of admin and organizational things I do for the club. I plan on joing an existing Circle K in college, or founding one if the college does not have one. </p>
<p>Other EC’s are less important:
JSA: 11/12 secretary in 11th
Herpotolgy Club: 10
Science Symposium (a GATE program): 10/11/12
Math Club (active member): 10/11/12 ( I have competed in a couple math contest but have not done notably well in any so far)
Relay For Life through Key Club in 11th grade, and will be captian for 12th grade
Going to China for a month this summer through CTY (i know it doesnt count but I wanted somehting else to put)
Between Key Club, School, and Horses I don’t really have much time left for other EC’s…</p>
