chance me back please!

okay, so all the colleges on your list are matches/safeties but Swat. Your big issue here is going to be that you only took 2 of 6 AP courses offered, that’s a big negative for liberal arts colleges in general. its probs a high reach for you.

if you’d like to play up the diversity, maybe talk about your GSA experience etc… in your essays, that could really compel them if you went through a harsh time/interesting experience.

it’s impressive that you’ve held up your job for so long, talk about stuff you’ve learned from that in essays.

my last piece of advice is to raise that ACT. get a practice test book and study for 50 hours (that’s what i did with the SAT), and you’ll have an excellent score in no time. :)

Ahh… half of the APs offered are math/science, and neither of those subjects are strong areas for me. I’d love it if my school offered AP Psychology.

I’m still working on the essay that I’ll use in my Common App, but I’ve considered writing an essay on gay tolerance in schools. I haven’t gone through anything especially harsh, but I have a lot to say about the topic.

I don’t think that I would have the time (or chance) to take the ACT again. I’m going to send out all of my applications very soon, though I do appreciate your testing suggestion and positivity.

Thank you for responding to this.
