<p>So I am a current sophomore in high school and it has been my dream to become a doctor. Right now I have a GPA of 3.79 out of 4.5 and I have a B- right now in AP Bio, but mostly B+ and A- in my other classes. I don’t know why I am doing so badly in my classes, but I really want to get into a 6 or 7yr med program or a great college like Duke or Georgetown. So far I have been accepted into the University of Pittsburgh Health Scholors Academy which I will be attending this summer, but I really want to know my chances in getting into a 6 or 7yr med program.

<p>Most of these programs are extremely selective and will have more applicants with grades superior than yours than there are spots. Your chances aren’t very good for these programs.</p>
