<p>Well i’ll see what you guys think!</p>

<p>I go to a top 50 private school (sends 10-15% to HYPS)</p>

<p>I am top 40% of my class. with a 3.5 GPA
SAT scores= 2250 3 part. with two part being 1490.
ACT=?
SAT 2= Math 2 750</p>

<p>Clearly i’d be a long shot getting into Harvard on my own. I plan on doing a sport at Harvard, and had a meeting with a coach 2 weeks ago that went pretty well. he said he couldn’t do much for me now, but he will see in august/september and early action time (i am not a top recruit, but i am being recruited by some other schools.)</p>

<p>EC’s = President of 2 clubs i am passionate about, and a few sports (captain of 2 teams, and have been since sophomore year.)</p>

<p>What do you guys think?</p>

<p>looks like it will be tough, as it is for anyone. </p>

<p>my guess is it will depend on that coach, otherwise you should be spending more time looking at some matches. If you are from a top 50 private school then the 3.5 may be acceptable, but otherwise thats going to hurt you anywhere you wish to go. try penn state maybe as a high match, or perhaps another state school </p>
