<p>Thanks, timeflew. But that comes from our teachers and counselors, not directly from a UT person, so I’m not sure if its entirely true. But hey, why not be on the safe side? 
However, a UT rep was at our school last week and said a 29 on the ACT was the minimum to be competitive for merit scholarships.</p>
