<p>Alright, i’m a senior in high school right now, and I’ve just recently (last week Tuesday, so exactly a week) sent in my college applications. I applied to three total schools, all of which i would like to get in, and by the measurement of Cappex (college search site) i have a high chance to do so.</p>
<p>Here are my ‘credentials’ so to speak:
G.P.A: 3.8/4.0
Rank: Top 16% of a class of 421
ACT: 26 (took it twice, i suck at tests)
Took a few AP classes like World History and Psychology, as well as several honors courses in math and English.
Member of a charter school program inside my high school that specializes in project learning and real world experience developing (21st century skills they call it).
Helped to found our schools very own Robotics club and am the current Marketing/Financial Head of it.
Coordinator of a program that involves the aiding and mentoring of elementary school kids that struggle with their own academics (started through my charter School).
Have worked three jobs since i started high school, currently still employed.
Recently became involved in my schools theatre and drama programs.</p>
<p>The bad stuff:
Low ACT score (by my standards)
Didn’t take very rigorous science courses (Got the two requried to graduate and stopped there, took other courses to acquire my 3rd credit such as astronomy and oceanography).
Did not take a 4th year of math after Advanced Algebra.</p>
<p>Colleges:
Depaul University, IL
University of California- Long Beach, CA
The University of Tampa, FL</p>
<p>I’m going for my degree in Film and media production, i love the arts and being creative, but i let peer pressure get to me :(</p>
<p>What are my chances you think? Based on my current scores? Should i apply to more colleges?</p>
