<p>Hi, here are my stats… hopefully someone can give me an idea of where I stand:</p>
<p>I am a Senior who applied ED. </p>
<p>GPA: 3.4/5 (Struggled first two years, managed a 4.4 cumulative my Junior year) 3.2/4
ACT: 32
EC: Multi-national qualifier in speech events, bpa, golf, tennis</p>
<p>I have two siblings who graduated from UIUC. I plan to major in finance and take the pre-med track. </p>
<p>Currently, I run online tech company that has is mainly charitable. We have expanded our business and make tens of thousands in profit annually.</p>
<p>I also started a tutoring program at my high school. </p>
<p>Do i stand a chance?</p>
<p>Your ACT is good. Sibling alums don’t make a difference as far as legacy is concerned. Your grades are the issue, but they favor an upward trend. You don’t state whether the GPA is weighted, or not, nor do you specify class rank, or course rigor. That is all considered. Your ECs look fine. Also, did you mean to type 3.4/5, or is the 5 a typo? If not, why would you have a 5.0 gpa max initially, then report a 3.2/4? Or is one weighted, and the last not?</p>
<p>Did you apply to the Business school or LAS? That makes a big difference too. LAS you look very good. Business you look good but the GPA is an issue. I think your ECs will pull you through…Good luck!!</p>
