I really love photography and writing, I’m actually starting on writing a novel that I hope to finish this coming summer. However, I havent won any awards or anything - mostly because I’m a bit too scared to enter contests. Is it too late?

Any thoughts? Much appreciated!

I also forgot to add that I volunteered as a tennis counselor for 2 summers and did an internship over the summer as well

IMO your bio and stats look good - as do many others who apply. You’d certainly be a viable candidate but beyond that it really isn’t known what your chances are. I would encourage you to apply if you are really interested in Princeton but treat it as a “reach” school as that is the case for nearly everyone.

Keep in mind that Princeton (and many other schools) turn away many, many amazing candidates every year. If you apply and don’t get in, take care not to carry that as a personal reflection of your worth. However you might be accepted but you really won’t know if you don’t apply. I’d say go for it.

thank you for your response!
