Justin,

Is Charles Bachman (from LAF admissions) = Chuck Bachman of “Chuck’s Lights” see: http://www.users.fast.net/~cbiii/lights.htm ; If yes, I thought that chameleon123 would find his background very interesting.

chameleon123:
Write up an arts performance & training resume for all of your experience in music and theatre. When you go to visit schools ask to speak with someone from the music and/or theatre departments (even if you have no plans to major or take classes in those areas). Let them know you plan to continue performing in college and give them your resume. Keep up a correspondance with them (ask about performance opportunities or give updates on your performances). When you are sending in your applications, let your contacts know and ask if they could forward your resume (send them a new up-to-date version) to the admissions office with a nice word as to how you will be able to contribute to the arts at that particular school.

When you are filling out the activities portion of your applications don’t forget to include the many hours of all of your rehearsal time for your music and theatre activities. By showing how much time you have devoted to the arts (or any other activity for that matter) you show the schools that you have a high level of dedication to those activities.

Good Luck and have a great Senior year!
