I’m only asking because I know that UChicago tends to reject many applicants with strong SAT scores and a high GPA.

I’ve taken the following community college classes (my grades are low in these courses because I mainly take them for the learning experience/lectures/discussions. I don’t do any of the pointless coursework.)
Anthropology: B (the only assignment I did all semester was a kick-ass research paper)
Math Analysis/Trig: A
Psychology (Logic and Reasoning): B/A (not sure, I don’t even bother to check out my transcripts)

National Merit Finalist (probably), I got a 227

SAT Score:
First time 2290 total, 740 math, 800 writing, 760 verbal

SAT II: 800 math IIC, 760 biology, 740 US history, 720 world history (I took this as a freshman only because my friends were taking it; I had no idea what the SAT even was)

ECs:
Art Club President/Founder (I devote most of my time to this activity)
I only do one kind of volunteer service, but I’m EXTREMELY devoted and interested in it. I’m a telephone crisis counselor for a local nonprofit organization.
I’m the student coordinator of the youth outreach group for the crisis line organization.
National Honor Society Parliamentarian
I’ve been learning piano for 10+ years (I’ve received achievement awards)
I’ve been learning Indian classical vocal music for 10+ years (I’ve received achievement awards here too)
I’m part of the School Site Council subcommittee for Academic Achievement (we, students and parents, try to boost the academic achievement of minorities at our school)

My friend and I recently started an independent newspaper that publishes students’ writing, artwork, musical compositions, etc. I’m the publishing editor for that.

Work experience (about 10 hours a week):
I work as an oil painting instructor for a local arts studio (I myself have been oil painting since age 5. I want to include some of my artwork in my application)
I interned at an arts organization that tries to increase arts education in the community
I recently became involved in the mayoral race and am officially working for one of the candidates’ campaign.

Sports:
4 years Varsity Soccer
Varsity Block Letter awards
Competitive club soccer for 10+ years

I want to major in Economics at UChicago. I know that most of my extracurriculars exhibit my interest in the arts (which I do in fact love), but that’s mainly because my interest in the social sciences stems from the individual reading and research I’ve done and the discussions I’ve had with my history teachers. I’ve just recently joined Speech and Debate; thus far I had refrained from doing so because I disliked the idea of debating topics that I might not be particularly interested in.

Thanks a LOT for your help!!
